What to Expect
Let's make sure we're on the same page! Below you can find a break down of what a typical treatment timeline will look like. This process will allow for the time to share your story and your health history, understand your body better, undercover the root cause of your symptoms and make informed and empowered decisions about your treatment.

Treatment Time Line
1
Discovery Call
This is a chance for us to connect before beginning treatment to ensure we are in alignment. You can ask any questions you have about treatment options or the process before beginning an intake.
2
Initial Consultation
This will be our first appointment together. During an initial consultation we will spend an hour together discussing your health history, your health goals, and available treatment options. We will also work on establishing a good basis for health in order to optimize how effective our targeted treatment plan will be.
3
Diagnostic testing
If indicated we will go through baseline and investigative lab testing to identify the root cause of any symptoms you may be experiencing. I always tell my patients it's better to test than guess!
Any necessary lab requisitions will be provided during our initial consultation to be reviewed in our follow up appointment.
4
Treatment plan
Complete treatment plans are provided during our second appointment together. A personalized and comprehensive treatment plan will be provided which may include diet and lifestyle changes, supplements, prescription medications, herbal medicine, acupuncture or referrals for additional support.
5
Progress assessment follow up
During our third appointment together we will assess your response to your treatment plan. This is an opportunity for us to make any adjustments or additions to the plan as needed.
6
Continuing care and monitoring
Appointments 4 and onward are in place to make sure you have access to continuing care. Your health needs change over time and so should your treatment plan. These appointments give us the opportunity to preventatively support your health rather than waiting for symptoms to arise and then treating them.
FAQ'S
Will my visits be covered under my extended benefits?
Most extended insurance plans have 500-1000 coverage for Naturopathic appointments and services. Every plan is different so be sure to check with your plan before booking and call your insurance with any questions.
Is there anything I need to do to prepare for my initial consultation?

What conditions do you focus on treating in your practice?
While I run a general practice and firmly believe that I am treating the person and not the disease. That being said, my practice and education have been largely focused on treating women's health, fertility, skin care, mental health and digestive health. If you are curious about whether we will be in alignment feel free to book in for a free 15 minute discovery call here!
